This roughly 13 km walk can take up to 3.5 hours. The trail runs through lush green forest, passing a variety of trees, plants and wildlife. It is well maintained and mostly flat, though some steeper sections call for care. Along the way you cross small streams and waterfalls — refreshing pauses in the humid surroundings. The highlight is the 25 Fontes waterfall at the end, cascading down a cliff into a natural lagoon. A swim is possible, but the water is quite cold. The return follows the same path and is usually quicker and easier.
